Glayzer 09C is an inverted rubber that pairs a tacky surface with Butterfly's High Tension treatment on the Spring Sponge X, with a 42° sponge. Together with Dignics 09C it is one of only two rubbers in Butterfly's current catalog built this way, and it serves as the more accessible of the pair: Butterfly rates it at spin 87 and arc 95 with speed 75. In the manufacturer's published upgrade path, Glayzer 09C is the recommended move from Rozena for players who want a sticky rubber, and Dignics 09C is named as its next step up. Available in 1.9 and 1.7 mm; made in Japan.

From the manufacturer — Butterfly 2025/26 Catalog

“High performance rubber that achieves both adhesion and momentum”

A rubber with high elasticity and friction created by impacting tension into the rubber molecule, enabling a high level of control.

In Butterfly's published upgrade path (Rozena → Glayzer → Tenergy → Dignics), this product belongs to the Glayzer tier.

Spring Sponge X

In order to generate more speed and spin, we pursued a sponge that is easier to deform and more bouncy. The 'Spring Sponge X' used in the 'Dignics' series is about 14% easier to deform when the ball bites into it, and about 3% more resilient when it bounces back, compared to the 'Spring Sponge' used in the 'Tenergy' series. This difference makes a big difference in the power of the shot.

Sponge thickness guide

Each rubber has a lineup of multiple sponge thicknesses. Thinner sponge = lighter weight, lower bounce, suited for defensive play. Thicker sponge = heavier weight, higher bounce, suited for offensive play.
