PingGear is a free marketplace for buying and selling table tennis equipment, run as a hobby project by a single developer. Contact: [email protected]

What data we collect

• Account data — email address, username, optional profile details (location, club, avatar)
• Listing data — titles, descriptions, photos, prices you post
• Messages — messages sent between buyers and sellers through the platform
• Usage data — page views, listing view counts (via Google Analytics)

How we use it

• To provide the marketplace — show listings, forward messages, manage your account
• To send transactional emails — message notifications, password reset
• To improve the platform — understanding which features are used
• We never sell your data or use it for advertising

Google sign-in

If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password. You can revoke access at any time in your Google account settings.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. Google Analytics sets its own cookies for usage tracking. We do not use advertising cookies.

Data storage

Data is stored on Railway (EU region) and Cloudflare R2 (images). We retain your data as long as your account is active.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
