Spring Sponge

The sponge, which contains large air bubbles, contracts like a spring and repels the ball. It is an amazing sponge that gives you the feeling of being able to control the rotation and speed as you wish. It was installed in the 'Tenergy' series that was released in 2008, and is still widely supported around the world today.

Each rubber has a lineup of multiple sponge thicknesses. Thinner sponge = lighter weight, lower bounce, suited for defensive play. Thicker sponge = heavier weight, higher bounce, suited for offensive play.
