Tenergy 19 is a High Tension inverted rubber in Butterfly's Tenergy series, using the Spring Sponge with a 36° sponge — the same sponge hardness as Tenergy 05 and Tenergy 80. Within that group Butterfly rates it as the slightly faster, grippier option: speed 84 against Tenergy 05's 83, with spin 75 and arc 78 close behind, and the manufacturer describes it as aimed at better ball grip on powerful strokes. The surface is grippy rather than tacky. In Butterfly's published progression the Tenergy series sits above Glayzer, with the Dignics series as the next step up. Available in 2.1, 1.9 and 1.7 mm; made in Japan.

מהיצרן — Butterfly 2025/26 Catalog

“For better ball grip and more powerful hits”

A rubber with high elasticity; it is created by impacting tension into the rubber molecule.

In Butterfly's published upgrade path (Rozena → Glayzer → Tenergy → Dignics), this product belongs to the Tenergy tier.

Spring Sponge

Pursuing ease of deformation and elasticity. The biggest feature of the Spring Sponge is the sensation of 'grabbing' the ball. The sponge, which contains large air bubbles, contracts like a spring and repels the ball. It is an amazing sponge that gives you the feeling of being able to control the rotation and speed as you wish. It was installed in the 'Tenergy' series that was released in 2008, and is still widely supported around the world today.

מדריך עובי ספוג

Each rubber has a lineup of multiple sponge thicknesses. Thinner sponge = lighter weight, lower bounce, suited for defensive play. Thicker sponge = heavier weight, higher bounce, suited for offensive play.
